The Primal Seed-Bed of the Bible and World Christianity

Dr. Degbe seeks to reaffirm how the timeless forces behind the Christianity of Southern peoples continue to exhibit characteristics of the dialogue and tension between their primal religious consciousness and the Bible. His argument is that even the very seed-bed of the whole Bible is primal - thus normative Yahwism and Christianity have in many ways expressed their primal essences under the guidance of special revelation. This, he believes, is why the scriptures are fundamentally cross-cultural. Reading this book would give you a mature and a deeper orientation on the ways of God in all things.

Rev Dr Simon Kouessan Degbe holds a PhD from the Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture in Akropong, Akupem, Ghana. Dr Degbe is currently the President of Maranatha University College and Senior Pastor of Grace Assemblies of God Sowutuom. He is married to Joyce and they have five children.
