The problem of cultural identity in a period of transition

This monograph provides a socio-philosophical analysis of the state of Kazakhstani society after the collapse of the USSR and the search for cultural identity by the Kazakh people on the path to creating a Kazakhstani culture. The content of socio-cultural identity is examined, and the main factors hindering the educational and cultural identity of young people are identified and systematized. Based on theoretical developments and the practical results of sociological research, it has been confirmed that cultural identity is closely linked to motivational factors, which play an important role in determining a person's choice of means to achieve a set goal.
