The Procurement Journey: How E-Sourcing transformed the supply chains?
Details
For more than 25 years, organizations have been digitalizing and automating their sourcing processes with the use of emerging technologies. Procurement have been constantly evolving to address increasingly demanding requirements from the business that go well beyond cost savings. A key finding of my book is how technology, especially e-purchasing tools, can contribute and deliver a value by driving more efficient supply strategies and enabling future success. Specifically, e-sourcing or autonomous sourcing solutions can increasingly take on situations such as supply monopolies, cartels, where superior suppliers' power tend to hamper and impede competition in a relevant market.
