The Psychological Correction in Inflammatory bowel disease
Details
Psychological problems is one of the important aspects decreasing quality of lives of IBD patients. In this book we represent the results of the pilot research aimed at the study of efficiency of the complex approach to the therapy of these patients. The book covers in detail the course of psychological work with patients, theoretical grounds of the applied methods and also provides results of psychodiagnostic tests before and after the research to assess the dynamics of the psychocorrection effect. The chosen tests and methods complement each other, are interrelated and allow seeing more clearly the connection between a psychological personality portrait of a patient, his/her methods of interaction with the environment and surrounding people, his/her internal conflicts, stresses and psychological traumas and a disease symptom. We also hope this book helps to patients for more trusting specialists providing treatment, for better understanding causes of his/her disease and possible way of recovery. We express our sincere gratitude to each patient who gave his/her consent to publishing data of the research.
