The refusal of democracy and political will:

In an Africa where the absence of the necessary actions of coordination towards a determined objective and the lack of a political will for the march towards the democratic governance let propagate an absolute dictatorship and repeated coups. Thus, the birth of politico-militaries leads to dictatorship. With foreign support and interference, the entrenchment of dictatorial regimes contribute to the monarchization of states similar to the jungle where the strong triumph over the weak. Since the claim and achievement of independence, African states as a whole continue to sink into political obscurity, reflected in political facts and maneuvers. Democracy, which has failed in the face of progress, has been dominated by the less favorable political attitudes of African leaders.
