The Relevance of 1 Samuel 2:12-17 to Proper Child Upbringing

From the foregoing, it is glaringly undeniable that child upbringing is a very demanding task. Yet, parents/guardians are expected by God and the society to meet up to the task. In fact, the Bible demands that parents should train and bring up their children in such a way that they will live to glorify God, honour their parents and elders, obey authorities and benefit the society at large. This book investigate the challenge of child upbringing as is seen in 1 Samuel 2: 12-17. It's also explore processes, practices, styles, approaches and challenges of parenting. This paper also fully delineates the biblical approach to child upbringing, the empirical analyses is also consider and lastly this book exegeses and contextualize the passage under consideration in order to decipher its relevance for parents in our society.
