Details

This book is the result of a master's thesis that aimed to analyze how emotions participate in the cognitive process, covering topics in the philosophy of mind and education. This thesis invites us to go through an "affection" in order to truly know. It thus approaches knowledge as an operation that involves the whole body and not just the brain, placing "feeling" as an aid to "thinking" or even a consequence of it. Thus, these actions common to all human beings would not be a pair of opposites, as some Manichean theories of the philosophical tradition cited throughout the book intended.
