The Role Of Pension In Income Poverty Reduction

Retirees in Tanzania is among the most vulnerable groups exposed to an increasing rate of an Income poverty. Low pension rates received does not sustain the Retirees living Standards. There fore with increasing life presure, inflation and economic cricis retirees pension has a slightly effects in Income Poverty Reduction.There fore there is a need to improve Social protection safety net which will cater for the changing demands of retirees in Tanzania.
