The Role of Testosterone In Menopause

Menopause is a normal, natural phase which occurs in all women. During the transition period from reproductive age to menopausal age,women experience a lot of physical changes. Even though many women go through menopause without any symptoms, or less disturbance in their daily lives, some experience major symptoms till the extend that it disrupts the quality of their lives.A few downside of menopause are reduction in libido, tiredness, reduction in sexual activity, which is caused by reduced testosteron level which starts to reduce since the woman is 20 years old. A few researches concludes that the effectivity of testosteron treatment, uses the mood parameter, vitality and positive changes was reported in post menopausal women who uses testosterone. This book should help shed some light about testosterone and menopause, especially for Gynecologist, Endocrinologist, Resident, General Practitioner and medical student.
