The Role of the Academia in a Growing National Economy

This book contains proceedings of monthly Public Forum Discussions organized by the Zambian Open University. They were primarily aimed at opening up discussions on key national development issues with a view of finding ways of addressing the challenges faced and improving upon their strengths. This book has a wide readership, ranging from researchers, students, practitioners (lectures, teachers, adult educators), community leaders, Non-Governmental Organisations, Faith-Based Organisations, traditional leaders to the Government. The readership has a paramount responsibility of being significant actors in development processes.
