The Significance Of Techniques In Iranian Murals

The importance of techniques in mural was introduced. A significant element in mural, a public and social art that is as old as mankind, is indeed techniques which as emphasized by art scholars such as Siqueiros, Gardner and Hauser grows and develops along with the technology of each era. With regards to the importance of this issue, this dissertation focuses on one of the oldest techniques, i.e. flat color but with a modern material, i.e. acrylic to further study the significant role of technique in the art of mural.In this book, our contributors are Katayoun Moghadam,Dr.Sabzali Musa Kahn, Jaffri Hanafi and Dr. Nik Nairan Abdullah from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)
