The Status of Public-Private Partnership in Ethiopia

The aim of this paper is to serve as a reference book for various branches of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), each of the points has definitive source and reference for use by professional researchers and advanced graduate students. Each point provides self-contained surveys of the current status of Public-Private Partnership in Ethiopia by taking two case studies. These surveys summarize not only received results but also newer developments, from recent journal articles, thesis and discussion papers. Some original material is also included, but the main goal is to provide comprehensive and accessible surveys on the drivers and enabling environments of Public-Private Partnership in Ethiopia. In addition to this, the status of service delivery before and after Public-Private Partnership in Unified Billing System and in Addis Ababa Exhibition enters and Market Development Enterprise is also clearly surveyed. This paper is intended to provide not only useful references for professional collections but also possible supplementary literature for advanced courses for graduate students in policy related areas.
