The survival of tradition in the novel "The Identity Card"

When exotic or otherworldly identity values come into conflict with those of the internal or host environment, which are lived intensely, a zone of demarcation emerges that weakens society.Imposing or forcing without convincing leads inevitably to resignation, to passive acceptance. It is observed at this stage that the accepted values necessarily go through a sifting, a selection and a rejection. Rejection of the asperities, of the archaisms, considered as such in the concert of the nations, in front of the social mutations.In the existential philosophy, the living otherwise of a people is translated by its customs and its traditions.In the face of this dilemma, the conflict of values arises, which provokes conflicts of people, repulsion, mistrust, the infernal cycle of violence. And yet, the federated efforts would have made it possible to establish living together in a peaceful climate of tolerance in the search of the interest of the greatest number.Thus, values that were previously unknown to each other, intersect, maintain and nourish each other.The ambivalence or hybridization of identity anchors would give way to a symbiosis thought out, reasoned; to a cultural crossbreeding.
