The Syntax of Negation in English and Amazigh

Amazigh is an afro-asiatic language spoken across various regions of North Africa, Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Mali, Niger and Chad. This book presents the syntax of negation in English and Amazigh within the framework of government and binding theory, as outlined by Chomsky (1981), (1986), Chomsky and Lasnik (1991) and others. the book presents also some grammatical properties of amazigh language, especially the dialect spoken in the south of morocco.
