The Threat of Xenophobia to African Integration

South Africa is one of the few African countries that are viewed as a place where dreams are easily achieved as a result of the good and attractive legislative, policy and technological development in the country. The incessant spate of attacks on foreign-owned properties, shops, homes and lives of foreigners in some South African towns brings up questionable and controversial questions about xenophobia in South Africa. This study examined xenophobia from the Nigerian and South African perspective while laying emphasis on African integration.
