An evaluation of the Roosevelt administration's perception of Canada, her evolution in the US politics 1939-45. From a mere business associate and a provincial British Dominion, Canada evolved into a US continental defence partner, cardinal supply provider and a loyal ally. How much Canadian freewill and coercion imposed by the powerful southern neighbour was it? 'The book analyses important and attractive topic that is still not fully unexplored.
