The book is devoted to the formation and development of foreign policy broadcasting in the United States. It examines doctrines, forms of broadcasting, program policy, content, genre and thematic characteristics of broadcasts, professional activities of journalists, transition to new information and communication technologies. The interconnection between the US foreign policy and the information work of the "Voice of America" is disclosed. The transformation of forms and methods of presenting information during the fight against international terrorism is shown. Forecasts are made for the further functioning of U.S. foreign policy information in the context of global communications. The interrelation and mutual influence of American culture and mass communication are investigated.
