The Volkswagen scandal: a matter of legitimacy

This book is about the Volkswagen diesel gate burst in September 2015. It has been written in order to understand what really and exactly happened. The analysis concentrates on the enterprise's loss of legitimacy in the eyes of its stakeholders (customers, suppliers, the government, public opinion and so on), on its loss of reputation and the financial consequences it will face (fines and class actions).

Born in Mendrisio (Switzerland) in 1992, after having attended the high school, I chose to do the bachelor in Economics. As I was passionate about the field, I kept on studying and in September of 2016 I got my master in Economics, major in Management. I wrote this book because I felt very embittered about Volkswagen conduct.
