E. Phillips Oppenheim (1866 - 1946) war ein englischer Schriftsteller. Er war Romanautor, ein produktiver Autor von Bestsellern in den Bereichen Genre-Fiction und schnelle Action. Er veröffentlichte fünf seiner Romane zwischen 1908 und 1912 unter dem Pseudonym "Anthony Partridge". Um 1900 kaufte ein wohlhabender New Yorker Lederhändler, dem Oppenheims Bücher gefielen, die Lederfabrik und machte ihn zu einem angestellten Direktor, um seine Schriftstellerkarriere zu unterstützen. Seine bekanntesten Werke sind "Stolen Idols" (1925), "Light Beyond" (1928) und "Murder at Monte Carlo" (1933).
