Theater in Venezuela in times of revolution (2000-2010)

The changes that took place after 1999 transformed, little by little, the social and institutional frameworks in which Venezuelan theater acted. Luis Alberto Rosas carefully studies these changes, for which he worked with important sociological and theatrical theories. This foundation gives consistency to the research. The author offers ample information on what happened in the decade 2000-2010, so that the reader can place himself with certainty in the diverse social and theatrical frameworks of that decade. That is to say, his research has a solid documentary base that gives his book consistency and, consequently, it is an important and new contribution to know and understand the contemporary history of Venezuelan theater.Leonardo Azparren Giménez.
