The contact between Islam and Christianity is characterized by mistrust, competition in seeking and defending their followers, and even hatred to one another. The relation tends to be polemical, apologetically, antithetical and rivalry. Many disturbances between the two religious were a result of the traditional theology presuppositions that Christians held regarding other religions. A relevant theological method of contextual theology that has capacity to respond meaningfully to the gospel for transforming interreligious relations is described in this book. The intent is to furnish, encourage and empower members of local churches, both as individuals and community, with a guide of the theological method necessary doing contextual theology addressing the problem of poverty and religious pluralistic. This book provides Biblical Hermeneutic Cycle of Theopraxis, a clear way of sorting out some of the ways in which contextual theologies being constructed in the systematic way or orderly arrangement of parts or steps to accomplish doing contextual theology and can be understood in a disciplined way and practical tools.

AKA Mikha Joedhiswara, holds a S.Th. degree from Duta Wacana University, Jogyakarta, Indonesia, the M.Th. from Edinburgh University, Scotland and the D.Min. from San Francisco Theological Seminary, CA. From 1987-2009 was minister of Muria Church, Kudus, Indonesia. Currently minister of Indonesian Christian Church (GKI) San Jose, CA.
