Therapeutic Accompaniment and Psychoanalysis
Details
Based on practical experience, this paper aims to explore the role of Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) in psychiatric hospitalization, highlighting the importance of psychoanalytic practice for its development. Its starting point is explained by the location of TA praxis in the context of psychiatric reform, with the aim of characterizing it as an important alternative to the asylum model, since it seeks to offer the psychotic subject a closer connection with social ties. Next, it seeks to discuss treatment practices focused on the clinic of psychosis, circumscribing the setting of Therapeutic Accompaniment to the clinic of coexistence. With regard to psychosis in particular, it presents osicanalysis as its theoretical basis, seeking not only to study what affects the psychotic structure, but also to understand the transferential bond that emerges between patient and TA. Its main objectives revolve around the clinical indication of listening to delirium and the position that concerns the Therapeutic Accompaniment of the possible encounter with psychosis.
