Therapeutic effects of honey and neem in oral health care

Various chemical agents have been evaluated over the years with respect to their antimicrobial effects in the oral cavity. However, mostly associated with side effects that prohibit regular long-term use. Therefore there is a need to use herbal agents that are effective, safe and inexpensive.Neem and honey being two natural products exhibit a wide range of pharmacological activities and medicinal applications and can be used as adjunct to an oral hygiene tool. This book highlights the various uses of honey and neem and relevant significance in dentistry.
