Therapeutical Aspects of Hepatitis C Infections

Viral hepatitis is currently one of the worldwide health problems, particularly hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus which are at high risk of developing chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Clear the HCV RNA and prevention or reversal of progression to cirrhosis, liver cancer, liver failure and sustained normalisation of ALT levels is the CHC infection treatment aims. In the last few years, numerous directly acting antiviral agents (DAAs) have been implemented successfully, efficacious and safe in treatment algorithms of HCV infections. In this book I have discussed more on new and efficacious CHC therapies.
