Therapist's Perception on clinical Application of the SMART assessment

My work was inspired by my experience of working with patients with severe brain injury''. Patients in low awareness are often difficult to diagnose . Their behaviour may suggest that they are not aware of themselves or what's around them. Unless provided with a comprehensive and structured assessment , meaningful responses can be missed , leading to misdiagnosis . SMART is a pioneering technique to help identify the extent of the Patients brain Injury. The thought that I could help improve the life of a patient or a relative was also very inspiring. The project Focuses on the effectiveness of the interventions from the perspective of therapists that use it.
