The study of this book elucidate that the theino[2,3- d]pyrimidine nucleus is an important scaffold in therapeutic chemistry and in the drug-discovery studies. This book showed its wide range of pharmacological activities like anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antiviral and 48 CNS protective agents. So, these stimulate us to mention the structure activity relationship (SAR) of thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine. It reveals essential information for medicinal chemists to aid in the synthesis of novel, target-selective, improved and diversified thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine scaffold for the treatment of multifactorial disorders.
