THORACOABDOMINAL TRAUMA SEVERITY INDEX

Currently, in the prehospital area, the application of trauma scales has been left aside or they are applied sporadically, thus the importance of the study and therefore the application of trauma scales at the prehospital level is seen, especially because in this branch of the health area, the personnel are faced with countless events with polytraumatized patients and added to a hostile scenario, in which they do not have the means or implements that a hospital has, personnel face a number of events with polytraumatized patients and a hostile scenario, in which they do not have the means or implements that a hospital has. For this reason, it is necessary to apply the trauma scales, which will make effective and contribute to an adequate diagnosis regarding the management and treatment of the trauma patient. This book will show how the Revised Trauma Trauma Scale (RTS) and the CRAMS Scale are applied directly to patients with thoracic and abdominal trauma. Emphasis will be placed on the proper use and application, not only focusing on adult patients but also on pediatric patients, because in the prehospital setting as paramedics we attend patients of any age without discrimination.
