Through the Eyes of the Victim explores the human experience of victims of violence, conflict or discrimination. Through poignant stories, the book highlights the suffering, resilience and healing of individuals in the face of injustice. Each chapter explores a different dimension of this experience: from the loss of innocence to invisible suffering, from dehumanization to the quest for justice, from the search for hope to personal reconstruction. The book also addresses the importance of social support and expression for victims, while inviting us to reflect on how society perceives and accompanies them. Finally, it underlines the fundamental role of solidarity and empathy in helping victims reinvent themselves and find inner peace. A call to action for a fairer, more united world.
