Time and methods study in the foaming sector

Time and Methods Study in the Foaming Sector of a Magnetic Mattress Company. This book was a study carried out at a company that produces magnetic mattresses, located in the state of Paraná. The work consisted of analysing the foaming sector (which produces foam in various densities for mattress assembly) using chronoanalysis. The first step was to get to know the sector (number of employees, which densities were produced and their respective quantities). Then work began on measuring the time taken to produce the foams. At the end of the measurements, improvements were proposed, which were accepted by management and coordination. After implementation, the gain in foam production time was verified and compared with the previous method.

Graduated in Production Engineering from the State University of Maringá in 2014. Joined the Master's programme in Urban Engineering at the State University of Maringá in 2016 as a regular student. Worked as a process analyst for a road equipment company. He has experience in Lean Manufacturing and the study of times and methods.
