The book entitled "Tissue Engineering - New perspectives in designing artificial organs" has the purpose of presenting a current overview of the most current innovations in developing bioartificial organs and the applications that go along with them. The book is divided into eight chapters that focus on the morphological, physiological, and metabolic aspects of healthy tissues, as well as the most common diseases related to them and the most effective treatments discovered until now. Also, the book focuses on the natural and synthetic biomaterials that can be used in order to manufacture bioartificial organs.The book's authors have created a guide for the researchers who try to develop new bioartificial organs.
