Tissue Engineering in Periodontics

This book is an introduction to technologies being applied nowadays for the regeneration of lost periodontal tissues due to injury or infection (periodontitis). It basically focuses on a technology named tissue engineering which utilizes cell, scaffold, and signaling molecule to regenerate the lost tissue. Under headings like cell source, scaffolds, signaling molecule the entire concept of tissue engineering for periodontal regeneration has been explained along with the limitation, future direction and recent advancement.
