In the monograph, the strength and deformation indicators of the samples of loess soils on highways at different moisture levels were determined, and it was shown how these indicators can depend on soil moisture. The laws of moisture dependence of the deformation modulus and strength indicators of highly sedimentable loess soils were determined based on the results of experiments. The studies carried out on the basis of the monograph made it possible to quantitatively evaluate the range of deformation-strength indicators of loess soils on highways, when soil moisture is changed from its natural state to a fully saturated state.
