It is also the title of the instrumental music composed for the film by Elmer Bernstein. The film features mostly antique toy trains moving within fanciful settings to a toccata. A short narration at the beginning extols the design merits of toys versus scale models.Charles (1907 1978) and Ray (1912 1988) Eames were American designers, married in 1941, who worked and made major contributions to modern architecture and furniture.
