This book is related to design and development of 'Tool Condition Monitoring System' for difficult-to-cut materials. The CCRD methods of Design of Experiment is used for systematic planning of experiments. Based on the experimental data, predictive models are developed. The model found good agreement with experimental results, which shows that the developed models found reliable for tool wear prediction for the given tool-workpiece combination within the domain of the selected cutting parameter.

Dr. Nitin Ambhore received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune India.
