Lauro Tatsuo Kubota is a Full professor at the Chemistry Institute from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, and a Research Fellow from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Campinas (Brazil) and a Post-Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Lund University (Sweden) in 1997/98. Currently is the Coordinator of the National Institute on Science and Technology in Bioanalytics (INCTBio). He is a member of the São Paulo State Academy of Science (ACIESP) and the Brazilian Academy of Science (ABC) and became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in 2015. His main interest in researches focuses on Chemistry with emphasis on (Bio)Electroanalytical Chemistry for the development of sensors and biosensors employing novel materials, having published over 385 articles in specialized journals with a selective editorial policy and being author/co-author of 25 patents.

José Alberto Fracassi da Silva is an Associate Professor at the Chemistry Institute from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, and holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. He is also Associate Director at the Centre for Semiconductor Components and Nanotechnology (CCSNano) at UNICAMP and the Area Coordinator of the National Institute on Science and Technology in Bioanalytics (INCTBio). His main research interests are focused on bioanalytical applications involving oxygen and nitrogen reactive species, instrumentation and methods for capillary electrophoresis, and microfabrication strategies and materials for lab on a chip microsystems and integrated sensors. He has published 79 scientific papers, 5 book chapters and authored/co-authored 4 patents.

Marcelo Martins Sena is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and Research Fellow from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and his current work focuses on chemometrics in analytical chemistry, including the application of spectroscopic techniques (NIR, MIR, UV-vis, spectrofluorimetry) to the analysis of food, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products and forensic samples. He has also published +60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.

Wendel Andrade Alves is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of ABC, Brazil, and Research Fellow from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a Post-Doctorate in Physical Chemistry at the Electroactive Materials Laboratory from the same Institution. His research interests include supramolecular assembly of natural and synthetic polymers, self-assembly of peptides and biosensors.
