Topology in Einstein-Cartan magnetogenesis and dynamo effects

The book addresses the important issue of the amplification of magnetic fields in the universe. Since besides dynamo effects the magnetic field seeds are amplified by gravitational contraction of magnetic lines of force, it is of paramount importance the choice of the gravitational theory used. Based on recent papers published recently by the author, we digress and amplify this problem in the most well-known gravitational theory alternative to Einstein gravitational theory called general relativity. This is the so-called Einstein-Cartan gravity which is used here to apply in cosmological models and topological defects combining with both dynamo and gravitational amplification on magnetic fields, collectively called Einstein-Cartan magnetogenesis. We hope the book may be useful to mathematicians, mathematical physicists astronomers and cosmologists.

Luiz Garcia de Andrade has been a long time researcher at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), department of Theoretical Physics. His main interests are the applications of geometry and topology in several areas of physics. Recently he collaborates with the new Institute of Cosmology and Philosophy of Nature, Croatia.
