Focusing on the examination of land use and
development choices that have been made in New
Orleans in the recent past that relate to the
economic system of hyper-capitalism, Towards a
Sustainable New Orleans proposes a sustainable and
equitable redevelopment strategy for the city and

residents in harm s way of a natural disaster.
