Toxicity of Cadmium on the freshwater bivalve molluscs L. marginalis

Toxic effect of cadmium on the commercially important bivalve molluscs, lamellidens marginalis were undertaken in different seasons from different groups i.e. control, lc0 and lc50. The bivalve molluscs is very important pollutant indicator. it is commenly used as healthy diet nutrient in the form of meet and it is very delicious and nutritious. Its shells are also used in for making buttons, ornamentals and it is used in lime factories.
