Training Needs of Extension Workers in Maigana and Samaru Zones Kaduna

The book "Training Needs of Extension Workers" was born out of great passion in the heart of the author to see Agricultural Extension Workers lives established in the field of agricultural production. The author believes strongly in the fact that, agricultural extension workers are the bedrock for a vibrant agricultural developments by all standard. The passion for sound extension worker has challenged the author to make an attempt of x-raying the areas by identifying the extension workers social characteristic; examine areas of training needs of extension workers; assess their training opportunities; and ascertain the major constraints limiting their training needs. The author also feels that, continues training opportunity for extension workers is a catalyst that will invigorate the capability of extension workers to stand out and deliver professionally.

Zachariah Bako Jamagani is one of the offspring of the Late Bako A. Jamagani and Lami Bako. He attended Local Education Authority Ung/Rimi Bajju Zonkwa, Tafawa Balewa Memorial College Samaru Kataf, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. Worked with IITA and other NGOs, now a private Agricultural Consultant.
