Training of decentralization actors in Mauritania

Workplace-based adult education, the valuing of learning and changes in traditional training methods have been in question for many years. The door is opening to a new world where learning is as central to the concerns of adult educators and as valuable as other organizational resources (Marsick, 1999). The shortcomings of current models of adult learning and training remain concerns that researchers continue to address. Our country, Mauritania, is not immune to this reality.
