Transdisciplinary research in public health

The authors present several theoretical references, among them: the principles and notions of complexity studies, the new ideas of organizational management (self-organization) and the transdisciplinary perspective, among others, to support a strategy that makes feasible the dynamization between disciplines, actors and sectors, to make sustainable and autopoietic research projects.

José Aureliano Betancourt Bethencourt schloss 1978 sein Studium an der Universität Havanna (Kuba) als Doktor der Veterinärmedizin ab. Von 1978 bis 2006 arbeitete er als Spezialist für Epidemiologie und Tierreproduktion, seit 2006 ist er Assistenzprofessor für öffentliche Gesundheit an der Universität für medizinische Wissenschaften.
