TRANSLATION OF TAMIL SHORT STORIES is a collection of Sri Lankan Tamil Short Stories translated in English. The author has given a brief introduction about the nuances involved in translating Tamil Stories in English and the stories selected for translation were moving tales about the untold suffering experienced by the Eelam Tamil people in the civil war. The book offers a great experience about how lay men are affected by war.

SABAPATHY.,M.A.,M.Phil.,(Ph.D)hails from Dharapuram,TamilNadu,India.He graduated from Palaniandavar College of Arts and Culture,Palani,his post graduation was in M.A.,English language Studies from ELS Dept,Madurai Kamaraj University,Madurai. His M.Phil was form the same university.He is currently engaged in the researching MIT for communication.
