The primary purpose of writing this book is to make it available to students and researchers and to prepare for their projects related to materials with an ANN approach. This book deals with the tribological and material characterization of niobium-based super alloys. In the present work, an attempt has been made to study the effect of wear parameters such as applied load, sliding speed and sliding distance on the Niobium C-103 Super Alloy dry sliding wear.The objective of this book is to enable the readers towards the Performance Evaluation of Niobium super alloys for testing the tribological properties and its characterization aspects. Following that, the experimental data were used to build an artificial neural network for ANN modelling using a back-propagation technique. Artificial neural network modelling produced satisfactory agreement between experimental and ANN results.
