Tuberculosis is one of the most important infectious diseases .Approximately,one-third of the world population are infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and about two millions of people dying with TB each year worldwide.The immune response of the host determines the fate of mycobacterial infections . Thus ,this book hilights the factors affecting the status of host cellular immune respnse against tubercle bacilli.
