Tuberose : Role of Pre and Post Emergent Herbicides

Traditional agriculture with regular. cereal and pulse crops production facing many constraint like increased cost of production and stagnated price for produce commercial horticulture is gaining importance because of WTO agreement of export, processing and value addition modern society a days every function are incomplete without flower or decoration in their context loose flower and especially, cut flower like loose flower gaining importance only because of their longer self-life and more aesthetic value now. As the commercial floriculture has increased importance in the recent times the flower growing in India is carried out as a part of regular agricultural system on small holdings. Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa Linn.) is one of the popular and commercially important bulbous flower crops which belongs to family Amaryllidaceae.
