Tumor markers: Guide to oral cancer

Tumor markers is a vast and rapidly changing field which if properly understood can help in unravelling the mystery that shrouds the treatment and prognosis of oral cancer. though a plethora of tumor markers are available for exploration but their sensitivity and specificity varies. very few tumor markers are specific for a particular cancer. we the authors have tried to present the various tumor markers in a lucid form for both clinicians and students alike...!!!
