Tunable Parameters for IEEE802.11 based Ad-Hoc Network

IEEE 802.11 based Ad-Hoc Network has some parameters to tune performance of network in different environments. In this book, authors discussed about these parameters and finally focused on a particular one, RTS-Threshold. Here, previous work on this parameter is compared. After that, authors proposed an efficient algorithm to tune RTS-Threshold's value adaptively to optimize network performance.

Authors of this book completed their under-graduation in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2009. They have keen interest in Wireless Network. An original paper based on the work specified in this book is published in 25th Biennial Symposium on Communication, Queen's University, Canada.
