The contents of the book include articles and essays written by the author after 2000. In general, the problematic nature of the texts is determined by the title of the book. The inclusion of essays devoted to Ukrainian topics broadens the range of the stated research, thus reflecting the increasing trends of dialogue between the civilizational discourses of the East and the West. The present book is intended for all those interested in the problems of contemporary culture.

Rustem Zhangozha, filósofo, culturólogo, crítico de arte, crítico literario. Miembro de la Unión de Escritores de Ucrania, miembro de PEN Internacional, académico de la Academia de las Artes de Kazajistán. Autor de 9 monografías, entre ellas "La innovación como tradición", "Kazajstán postsoviético", "Multiculturalismo: pro y contra", "El artista Tokbulat Toguzbayev". Vive en Kiev.
