Turning Point. Life is a Story - story.one

For Diya, the loss of her twenties could potentially be the loss of her life. Now that she has turned 29 she has started her year of pilgrimage. It will end in a weighing by the Gods at age 30. At this weighing, she will be told what part of herself she must sacrifice. With each funeral of friends that she visits, the sinking feeling grows: her achievements are not valuable enough to save her. Will her year of pilgrimage lead her to a role she can play with passion, or will she have to pay the ultimate price?

Judith grew up in the Netherlands in a rural, but multicultural town as a talkative child with stories to tell to anyone who would listen. As a teenager she told those stories through self-written songs. Once her adventurous spirit took her all around the world, photography became her tool. Her photos tell stories from New Zealand, to Mexico and from South-Korea to Ireland. Currently, she is settled in Vienna for a masters in Cognitive Science. Here she found the words to put her stories on paper. This debut is fuelled by her own anxieties and excitement about turning 30. Her hobbies are singing, laughing with friends and trying all the cakes in Vienna.
