Colby Lopez (born May 28, 1986), better known by his ring name Tyler Black, is an American professional wrestler who competes in North American independent promotions and has competed in Scott County Wrestling, IWA Mid South, the National Wrestling Alliance, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Wrestling Society X and Ring of Honor. In several promotions, Black was the tag team partner of Jimmy Jacobs, competing under the names Doin' It For Her (WSX), Kiss 2 Kill (PWG) and was once a member of The Age of the Fall along with Jacobs, Necro Butcher, Lacey, Allison Wonderland, Joey Matthews, Zach Gowen, Delirious, Brodie Lee, and Rain. Making his debut in the early 2000s, Black started out with Scott County Wrestling (further referred to in article as SCW), the federation in which he would hone his skills under the name Gixx. He also began wrestling for Ian Rotten's IWA Mid South and later entered the Ted Petty Invitational tournament, defeating Sal Thomaselli before being eliminated by Matt Sydal in the quarter-finals in Hammond, Indiana on September 23, 2005.
